Flitting about here, there and everywhere on delicate wings…..Dragonflies are both ethereal and very cool - a bit like Moonbeams but on a hot summer’s day. 

These OOAK Biwa Pearl Dragonfly earrings feature delicate Biwa Pearls, tiny gold Stardust beads and white Seed Pearls, all meticulously hand wrapped with fine gold filled wire. They dance and sway so beautifully in the ear that you’ll feel like you’re a Dragonfly!

All metal used in my jewelry, unless otherwise stated,  is 14k Gold Filled, including chains, wire, clasps etc. All pearls used in my jewelry are freshwater pearls, sourced from a Family-run Pearl farm in Yiwu, China.

︎ • Gold-filled is a US term for jewelry composed of a solid layer of gold (typically constituting at least 5% of the item's total weight) mechanically bonded to a base of either sterling silver or some base metal.

The layer of gold on gold-filled items is 5 to 10 times thicker than that produced by regular gold plating, and 15 to 25 times thicker than that produced by gold electroplate.
